We’re proud to share the Your Story Matters 2025 youth comic—an inspiring collection of stories written and illustrated by young creators from across Durham Region. This comic is the result of a 3-week summer program that blended digital art, storytelling, and peer collaboration, all while exploring themes like identity, community, healing, and resilience.
Each page is filled with imagination, empathy, and courage, and every story is a reflection of the vibrant youth who brought them to life.
This program is funded by the 8 80 Cities, Balsam Foundation, and the Ontario Community Changemaker Program.
